The Supporting People Partnership Board, which replaces the Commissioning Body, is the decision making body for the Supporting People programme. The Board plans, monitors performance, reviews and funds providers of the County’s housing related support services.
The Board meets on a quarterly basis, to oversee a programme of investment into housing related support services throughout Nottinghamshire and to strategically lead its named subgroups; the Supporting People Strategy Group and Finance Board. The Board is accountable to the Cabinet of Nottinghamshire County Council through its Chair, the Portfolio holder for Adult Social Care and Health.
The Board is also one of the seven thematic Partnerships of the Nottinghamshire Local Area Agreement and reports on progress against targets to the Nottinghamshire Partnership Executive and Strategic Board.
