The meeting will focus on the
Nottinghamshire County Council Supporting People Future Investment & Savings Consultation
Due to the anticipated level of interest in this issue, the meeting will take place in a larger venue than usual, the Council Chamber, Mansfield Civic Centre and in the first instance places will be restricted to two per organisation. It may be appropriate for these to be allocated to other representatives than those who normally attend.
Invitations to the meeting are therefore being sent to a broad contact list and staff should check with their organisations before contacting Supporting People to book places.
Bookings should be made by emailing the name/s, job title and contact details to monika.stokes@nottscc.gov.uk by Wednesday 9th February 2011
Organisations with a large number of SP funded services may be offered additional places at the meeting, where this can be accommodated.
The consultation period for the Supporting People Future Investments & Savings proposals has now begun and the relevant documents are available on the County Council website.
